GT Backup is written in C and uses dump and rdump. It is cost-effectiveand easy to use.BACKUP includes both interactive and unattended backup. It works with allstandard UNIX peripheral devices, and provides up to 99 backups from anyhost to any device on the network.RESTORE lists the backup tapes and filesystems so the appropriateselections can be made prior to invoking interactive restore.TAPE MANAGEMENT secures each individual tape used for the period of timeselected. Each tape will contain a header and trailer.
